A-frame Greenhouses are our entry level Greenhouse style designed for hobbyist gardeners interested in growing during colder months. Keeping this freestanding greenhouse in your desired temperature range is a breeze thanks to its shallow 5/12 roof pitch, and shorter sidewalls.
 

Lapp Structures’ Amish built A-frame greenhouses are maintenance free, and feature 8mm twin-wall polycarbonate panels providing semi-diffused light, making them dual-use greenhouses. Our pressure-treated structural frame includes white vinyl exterior trim boards for years of maintenance free durability. Also included are two standard roof vents, one on either side.
 

While manual control of the roof vents is sufficient for hands-on gardeners in most cases, you can also research automatic opening methods for your greenhouse. We offer a solar-powered fan/vent package to achieve this purpose. The fan is thermostatically controlled to increase airflow when the temperature inside the greenhouse reaches a preset level.
 

In place of vinyl trim, we also offer paintable MiraTec composite trim, which is moisture, rot and termite resistant. And if pressure-treated framing is a problem, Douglas Fir can be substituted as well
